A glimpse of Grenada – images from ‘the Spice of the Caribbean’

November 27, 2011

Caribbean, Destinations, Travel Photos

As the days become a little bit shorter and winter approaches, I like to close my eyes and pretend I’m on a beach in the sunshine. I really can’t complain though, seeing as I just came back from Grenada (West Indies), only a couple short weeks ago. I am the first to admit I am a wimpy Canadian and would take a warm, sunny day over the snow any day of the year.

Situated in the Eastern Caribbean, the tiny island of Grenada is a treat for anyone who has the opportunity to visit. White sand beaches, turquoise waters, delicious food and the friendliest of people – need I say more?
